Klightus traded his rifle for manacles. And then traded the manacles in for a grappling hook! Miraga traded his gun for a good chunk of change. He also ate a cigar, establishing his dominance on the entire party.

They are called Group 30, or The Doorstumblers. And they are called into a job, to descend to a planet, and deal with some heretics. Simple enough. On their descent, everyone but Ferrus violently throw up.

Once on the planet, they do some wandering around and find that a bit of graffiti depicting the group’s symbol. Ferrus is able to track down the artist due to some red paint spilling on his boot. The group tracks this guy down. Lou gives him a tarot card reading. Miraga and Ferrus are ready to tail him. Klightus is too busy showing Lou that he is, in fact, capable of counting to 100. Eventually, the party corners him. He reveals where his group is located and then they kill him and make their way to their hideout. Lou paints the tarot card she drew for him in his blood.

They stop real quick to do some shopping and get more guns and ammunition. Klightus is too busy showing Lou he can count to 200.

They engage the cultists in a fight. It is a bloodbath. There are no survivors. They take photos for proof the job is done, Lou paints the respective tarot cards, and they head out.

Once back on their home ship, Klightus names one of the cherubs Bahbee and teaches it how to fist bump. Another servo skull comes by spreading the thoughts of the day. Klightus writes these down and takes special care in analyzing them.

Thoughts of the Day

  • a broad mind lacks focus
  • a coward always seeks compromise
