Terrafirma Calendar
The calendar system is fairly simple, comprising of 12 months with exactly 30 days and roughly 4 weeks. Each week consists of seven days, representing the main pantheon of gods. In order, they go:
Shemsday (Monday) Xamsday (Tuesday) Nysday (Wednesday) Dahlsday (Thursday) Stashsday (Friday) Feathersday (Saturday) Ravensday (Sunday)
The months also have names as well, being represented by the minor gods. In order:
Auril (January) Ilmater (February) Lathander (March) Silvanus (April) Melora (May) Eldath (June) Pelor (July) Chauntea (August) Gwaeron (September) Mystra (October) Myrkul (November) Selune (December)
However, after these 12 months, there are still 5 days left in the calendar year before Terrafirma has made a full rotation around the sun. These final 5 days (sometimes 6 on leap years) are set aside to worship the less favorable gods, lest they become jealous of the gods that have been honored in the calendar. At least, that was the idea. In the modern day, it has shifted to 5 straight days of revelry and festivals, as well as a period of rest before the new year begins.
